Save a file on an iPhone
Use Safari. Copy a public post link, paste it on this site, and use the download link if one is offered. When the download finishes, open the file from Safari’s download list.
Steps
- In Instagram, open a public post you have the right to save and copy its link.
- Open this site in Safari. Paste the link and submit it.
- If a file is offered, tap the download link on this page.
- Open the file from Safari’s download list. Photos is a different place, and this page does not move the file there.
What not to expect
- The file will not appear in Photos just because the download finished.
- There is no app to install.
- A private post still fails. Being on your own phone does not make it public.
- Stories and Highlights are not offered.
If Safari opens a player instead of a file, use the download link on this page again. Do not install a profile or a certificate to force the save.
