Save a file on Android
Use Chrome. Copy a public post link, paste it on this site, and use the download link if one is offered. When the download finishes, open the file from Chrome’s download list.

- In Instagram, copy the link of a public post you have the right to save.
- Open this site in Chrome. Paste the link and submit it.
- If a file is offered, tap the download link on this page.
- Open the file from Chrome’s download list.
What not to expect
- No installable app is part of this site.
- A file in the download list is not the same thing as a file in the gallery.
- Private posts do not become available on a phone you own.
- Stories and Highlights are not offered.
Phone makers change the download tray and the gallery. Open the file from the download list rather than looking for it in another app.

Chrome said the file downloaded, but Photos does not show it.
Open the file from Chrome’s download list. A gallery is a separate app, and this page does not move the file there.
Should I install an APK instead?
No. This site is the browser page. Do not install an app that asks for your Instagram password.
