How to save a post
- In Instagram, open a public Reel, video, photo, or carousel and copy its link.
- Paste the link into the box above and choose Get files.
- Choose Save on the file you want, or Save all when a post has several.
- Open the file from your browser's download list.
What you can paste
Links to public Reels, video posts, photos, and carousels. Profile pages, audio pages, Stories, and Highlights can't be saved here.
What you get
- Each photo and video Instagram returns for the post, in the post's order.
- A Save button for every file.
- Save links that expire after a short while. If one stops working, paste the post again.
If no file comes back
- The text isn't a post link. Check it and paste it again.
- The post is private, deleted, or only visible when logged in.
- Lookups are busy, or Instagram is limiting requests. Wait a moment, then try again.
- The link is a kind of page this site doesn't save, such as a profile.
Questions
Do I need to sign in to Instagram?
No. Paste a public link. You never enter an Instagram password here.
Will the file go to my camera roll?
Not on its own. Your browser saves it as a download. Open it from the download list, then move it to Photos or your gallery if you want it there.
Can I save a Story or a Highlight?
Not right now. Stories and Highlights need a login, and this site never logs in.
Do you keep the link I paste?
Our statistics do not store the link you paste or the post's shortcode. The privacy page lists what is counted and what is left out.
